The strongest predictor of a kid's economic mobility isn't school quality. It's knowing people like you.

Harvard's Opportunity Insights mapped 21 billion friendships across 72 million people and found that friendships across class lines outpredicted school quality, income, and every other community factor they tested. When you mentor a Scholar, host a site visit, or speak to a cohort, you create exactly that.
