Experience & exposure

Summer Institute

Three four-week summers.

For three summers of high school, Scholars step into a high-pressure, professional environment that challenges them to think critically, solve problems, and lead. Through project-based learning, site visits, and direct access to industry leaders, Scholars build the skills and perspective to thrive in college and careers.

Experiential learning

Scholars tackle real world problems, often in teams — covering topics like current events, business, energy, and geopolitics. These experiences build the critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills needed to succeed. An interest in business isn't required; Scholars go on to study everything from engineering to medicine, computer science, humanities, and law. We prepare you for success in any career.

Career exposure

Site visits to trading floors, boardrooms, startups, power plants, government offices, and universities, plus a guest speaker series with industry leaders. We make sure you belong in every room.

A network that compounds

Scholars build their network from the very first summer — peers, alumni, mentors, and industry leaders — and it compounds every year after. We help you create your community.

Paid, not pay-to-play

Scholars earn a stipend each summer. We remove financial barriers instead of creating them.

Mentorship & leadership

Professional Development

Support that doesn't pause.

Professional development begins in the Summer Institute and is fostered throughout the year. Through one-on-one mentorship and progressive leadership opportunities, Scholars gain the confidence and skills to succeed in college and step into competitive careers — and, with well over 50% of jobs found through networking, graduate with a growing community of peers, alumni, and professionals who open doors.

Mentorship

Every Scholar has a mentor, and the relationship evolves as they grow: near-peer college students who understand the transition early on, partners who guide the college process, and professionals who advise on internships and careers. Beyond the one-on-one match, alumni, peers, and partners mean a Scholar is never alone — a community that helps them succeed in the program and land what comes after. You'll always have someone to call.

Leadership development

In a classroom, leadership can be abstract; at Atlas Scholars it's practiced. Scholars set goals, present to peers, and work in teams from the first summer, then take on more — leading projects, managing teams, and mentoring younger Scholars — building the communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and initiative employers say young professionals lack. You'll learn to lead by leading.

College & Career Access

From acceptance to diploma.

Atlas Scholars doesn't stop at acceptance — we stay with Scholars through college and into their first careers, turning ambition into achievement. Atlas Scholars holds a 100% college acceptance rate and a 100% college graduation rate, and the College Alumni Success Program (CASP) makes sure every Scholar finishes ready to launch.

College preparation

Preparation starts in a Scholar's first summer: college visits, individualized SAT/ACT tutoring with regular progress checks, and — as they advance — essay support, school selection, and finding the right academic and financial fit. By junior fall, every Scholar has a complete application strategy and a network that knows what it takes. You'll prepare, and apply, with a plan.

Scholarships

Atlas Scholars awards performance-based scholarships that remove barriers and reward growth — more than $850,000 awarded to date, supporting Scholars on the path to and through college. We won't let cost decide your future.

Alumni success

Through the College Alumni Success Program, Scholars stay connected with virtual and in-person sessions, networking, and flexible support funds for unexpected needs — a plane ticket home, interview attire — keeping every Scholar on track to finish college ready to launch a career. We don't stop at the diploma.

Alumni Reinvestment

A loop, not a finish line.

Atlas Scholars alumni don't just move on — they come back. Now working across energy, finance, technology, healthcare, and beyond, alumni reinvest in the program that carried them: as mentors, speakers, hosts, and donors. Every Scholar who takes the baton is expected to pass it on.

Mentors, speakers & hosts

Alumni come back as one-on-one mentors, guest speakers, and site-visit hosts — the same relationships and rooms that carried them, now theirs to offer. You'll give what you were given.

Internship pipelines

Alumni build internship pipelines and open doors at their own companies for the Scholars behind them — turning their networks into the next Scholar's first opportunity. You'll open doors you once walked through.

Community & giving

Alumni create community for Scholars — a network that follows them to any campus or city — and they give back financially too: more than $175K donated to date by alumni. You'll keep the loop going.
